Prime Minister of India interacted with achievers of Ehsaas International during Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu Kashmir Program
Ehsaas International stands as a beacon for women empowerment, exemplified by the transformative journey of Ahtisam Majeed, Farheena Bashir, Sakeena Nazir, and Syed Rafia. Emerging from modest backgrounds in various districts of Kashmir, these aspiring entrepreneurs, armed with diplomas in Food Technology from Govt. Polytechnic for Women Srinagar epitomize the potential unleashed through skill-based learning.
The organization’s commitment to women empowerment is evident in its dedicated support for these young technocrats. Guided by a vision to cultivate self-sufficiency and livelihood opportunities, Ehsaas International played a pivotal role in assisting these women in establishing a high-tech bakery unit in Srinagar. This unit was established with active support from
Chinar International

The resilience demonstrated by these women is noteworthy. Despite encountering numerous challenges and barriers along their entrepreneurial journey, they refused to retreat. Instead, they actively sought solutions, showcasing a determination to overcome obstacles that often hinder the progress of women in business.
Their pursuit of skill-based learning extended beyond their academic backgrounds. These women engaged in Entrepreneurship Development Programs focusing on business management. This strategic emphasis on skill development not only enhanced their knowledge but also equipped them with the tools necessary for effective entrepreneurship.

The recognition bestowed upon them as successful women entrepreneurs by the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Principal Secretary of Skill Development in Jammu & Kashmir is a testament to their remarkable achievements. Their story reached its pinnacle on October 12, 2023, when they were honored by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Minister for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, at Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh organized by NEISBUD in Delhi.
In less than a year, these resilient women have not only become successful entrepreneurs, earning approximately 2 lakhs per month but have also become powerful symbols of how women empowerment, coupled with skill-based learning, can pave the way for remarkable success in the entrepreneurial landscape. Their journey serves as an inspiration, highlighting the potential of fostering a supportive environment for women to thrive as skilled and successful entrepreneurs.
