Ehsaas International hosts Grand Iftaar- Brings together Sunnis & Shias under the umbrella of Love & Brotherhood
Carrying forward the legacy of celebrating the diversity & Inclusion matrix, Ehsaas International hosted Grand Iftaar for community friendship amongst sunnis and Shias at village Ganastan on 29th April 2022. The gathering was attended by around 1000 people including the sunni/shia volunteers of the organization & the teachers of Community Excellence Program too.People from both the communities dined together and cherished the values of Islamic Brotherhood. Ramaaan is the best month to witness breaking up the glass ceilings of disunity, discrimination and discord. Ehsaas International by its motto, always stands firm in taking on the mission of Bridge the Gap by organising events which cement unity & respect the dissimilarities. People from both sects broke their fast together at their own timings and then offered holy prayer, shoulder to shoulder-keeping the golden chord of Oneness alive. Syed Tabassum Geelani, Chairman Ehsaas International spoke about the importance of such events in the society. ” We are two different communities working under the same banner of Islamic principles and must stand up for each other and follow the path of transformational Unity amongst ourselves”, he said.
Ehsaas International shall continue the drive its work on Bridging the Gap to shape their organizational values, work practices, and performances for the greater good of society.
