Students studying in various winter coaching centres run by Ehsaas Trust International today attended an event on World Mother Tongue day organized by J& K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in Tagore Hall.
The event was attended by various dignitaries that included Additional Secretary of J&K Academy of Art ,Culture and Languages, Assistant Editor of Art and Cultural Academy and other officials of academy. They were accompanied by Ms.Sadaf, Ms.Bilquees, Ms.Falak Beigh, Ms.Fazeelat & Mr.Mursal members of Ehsaas Trust International.
Various programmes & performance were conducted on the event such as ghazal singing, skits, poem recitation,folk songs, ladishah performance and many other activities.
The motive of the event was to revive Kashmiri Language and realize its importance in preserving the heritage of Kashmir.
An open quiz competition was held in which students of Ehsaas Trust International not only actively participated but also won numerous awards.
The programme concluded with the note of thanks from Additional Secretary of academy who appreciated efforts of Ehsaas trust for providing quality education in remote areas of Kashmir Valley.
An award ceremony was organised during the event wherein awards were presented to various participating students. Students of Ehsaas trust run coaching centres bagged 12 out of total 15 awards in various categories.
