CEC Students of Ehsaas International commemorated National Education Day 2021
Bandipora 11 Nov. 2021: Community Excellence Centres run by Ehsaas International in under privileged areas of Kashmir commemorated National Education Day 2021. The main event was organised in CEC Check Ghanastan, Sumbal, Sonawari to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of India.
Students of various Community Excellence Centres run by Ehsaas International showcased the importance of education by way of live performances, songs, speeches, dramatization, skits before the audience to demonstrate the role education plays in shaping up a society.
The event was presided over by Dr. Bashir A. Lone (JKAS) Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sumbal Bandipora. He appreciated the efforts taken by Ehsaas International by providing better education to the underprivileged so as to make them competent. He said that the kids enrolled in these centres are becoming par with those who avail better facilities being economically sound.
Hakim Mohammad Ilyas, General Secretary Ehsaas Trust International delivers lecture on importance of modern education in the rural areas and their contributions to the backward societies. He also announced the special training program for teachers at Hyderabad who are associated with the trust to run these coaching centres. It is to mention Ehsaas International is running 27 Community Excellence Centres across 4 district of Kashmir wherein more than three thousand under-privileged students are registered.
Ms. Sadaf Firdous, Chief Coordinator CEC in her speech appreciated the contributions of the locals and appreciated teachers for their commendable support on meagre honorarium.
Mr. Saleem, SHO Sumbal present on the occasion dedicated two days weekly to teach in CECs run by Ehsaas International. He also distributed prizes among the students who participated in different activities on National Education Day.
The guests were delighted to view the performances and encouraged the students and teachers for working effectively and efficiently towards a bright future. They also congratulated Ehsaas Trust for carrying out such an endeavour and ensured of required support for smoother operations. The event concluded with distribution of gift items among the participants, as a token of appreciation from the management of Ehsaas Trust International.
