Ehsaas International and Taleem-O-Tarbiyat conducted workshop on Macramé Skill for underprivileged Women of Kashmir.
Bandipora, 11-04-2021: To support economic development and encourage sustainable livelihood, Ehsaas International and Taleem-O-Tarbiyat conducted one day workshop on Macramé Skill for underprivileged Women of Village Zalpora, Tehsil Sonawari district Bandipora. 30 women participants and female members of Ehsaas International participated in the workshop. The main focus of the workshop was to increasing employment among the vulnerable sections of the society, especially women. Also it was an opportunity to neglected, uneducated and dropout women folk for learning such a wonderful skill, which will definitely provide them dignified livelihood.
Mrs. Asiya Zafar Sareshwala, from Mumbai expert in macramé work, who is engaged in various initiatives on skill development of underprivileged women, was the resource person of the workshop.
Participants of the workshop expressing high regard and said, this skill will provide them excellent opportunities to build confidence and learn new techniques to find out work opportunities.
