Ehsaas International & Taleem-O-Tarbiyat in its continuous endeavor for skill development of economically backward class organised workshop on Macramme Work and Henna Designing
Bandipora, 16-09-2021: In contribution towards United Nation’s Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, Ehsaas International and Taleem-O-Tarbiyat has been conducting a series of workshops on Skill Enhancement for underprivileged women of Tehsil Sonawari District Bandipora. Today 30 plus women participants and female members of Ehsaas International participated in the workshop where Macramme Work and Henna Designing were imparted at Village Check Ganastan. The main focus of the workshop was empowerment of women among the vulnerable sections of the society. Also it was an opportunity to neglected, uneducated and dropout women folk for learning such wonderful skills, which will definitely provide them dignified livelihood.
Mrs. Asiya Zafar Sareshwala,Managing Trustee Taleem o Tabiyat, from Mumbai who is an expert in macramé work and is engaged in various initiatives on skill development of underprivileged women, was the resource person of the workshop.
Participants of the workshop expressed high regard and said, this skill will provide them excellent opportunities to build confidence and learn new techniques to find out work opportunities.
