Ehsaas International provides PPE kits to Srinagar Airport

Ehsaas takes up another pivotal role soon after partial resumption of air travel whilst nine flights expected to land in Srinagar Airport. Eid festivity was a low key affair amid lockdown and social distancing norms, with people preferring to stay indoors with their families. Eid day was no different than other days since the current crises for the volunteers from Ehsaas, as they were responding to an urgent call for requirements of PPE kits for Srinagar Airport. After the district administration reached out to Ehsaas for PPE kits in the wake of resumption of air travels, The team made sure that a supply of PPE kits reached airport today.. Keeping in view the criticality of the matter and the essence of time, even on the first day of Eid the volunteers from Ehsaas stepped out and made sure that this requirement was met. From May 25th 2020 9 flights are scheduled that will ferry passengers to Srinagar Airport. These PPE kits were made available for administrative staff, people working on computerization of data, staff at nearby locations, transport facilitators, pantry etc.
Ehsaas International since the beginning are working on the forefront of this Pandemic in Kashmir, assessing and understanding the need on the ground at the very beginning of the current crises, Ehsaas effectively started making PPE kits, face masks, face shields reaching out to multiple hospitals, quarantine facilities, healthcare and frontline workers alike, all as per the requirement from the ground. Soon this team of committed volunteers reached out to other districts as well and till date has made possible making more than 30k PPE kits, 50k Masks and so on.
