Sponsorship for Meritorious Deserving Students in Higher & Professional Education
Since last more than 3 decades Kashmir has been reeling under tremendous political crisis and turmoil whose consequences have not left education sector untouched .
Kashmir is also underdeveloped in form of educational infrastructure which can be understood by the fact that the valley with population of around 85 lakhs has just few professional colleges accommodating a small number of students.
This scenario leaves the valley students with no option then to strive outside state for education thereby increasing educational cost tremendous . Every year approximately 50 thousands qualify 12th class examination in Kashmir valley and accordingly they used to get admission in different universities/colleges.
Since last Six years Ehsaas International has supported more than 700 poor meritorious students by providing admission on scholarship basis in professional courses including Medicine, Engineering, Para Medical, Law , Management, , Humanities etc. in various universities and colleges associated with the trust.
Objectives Under This initiative
Signing MOU’s with various institutions of higher and professional learning in and outside country so as to accommodate deserving students on scholarships.
Counseling programs in areas that are educational neglected thereby guiding students in selection of right and appropriate professions.
Counseling parents who deem educational as less priority for their kids.
Informing students and their parents about various Govt. Scholarship schemes to get benefited for them.
To create Self Help Groups among the trained youth create their linkage with Financial Institutions, Government and Philanthropic levels to establish an enterprise.
To setup a digital language lab for underprivileged youths who lack hold on English and Mathematics thereby making them poor performers at levels of professional education.

Activities
Coaching for class 11th and 12th NEET and JEE Students
Admit meritorious students from poorer families in coaching center in Srinagar Parraypora with scholarship support from the coaching centers itself
Students are selected for above mentioned scholarships through an enterence test to find the merit of students which is then mapped to their economic status to finalize the scholarship amounts .
Provide support in accommodation and food for students who are not in a position to effort the same.
Have setup coaching centers in far-flung areas for unprivileged students with an intention to bring education par excellence at the door steps students can avail the coaching at their centers free of cost.
Regular tests are conducted in these centers to assure quality teaching learning process
Workshops are also conducted in these centers for personality development, women personal hygiene and environment
Special coaching sessions and mentor-ship
Students aspiring for admission in various national and international universities are provided special coaching sessions to crack entrance tests of such institutions and secure scholarships too.
Admission in professional colleges nationally
Meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of society are admitted in various professional courses in various professional courses in various institutions nationally on scholarships basis sought usually form the institutions itself.
Students who cannot afford hostel and mess charges are supported for same by way of donations.
Support for international studies
Aspiring students are mentored and guided for admission in countries like South Korea, Taiwan , china and Iran on scholarships in fields of Medicine, Engineering, Management etc,
Such students are supported in travel & accommodation during taking tests in locations other than Kashmir
Support for Preparation for civil services IAS & Allied services
Every year entrance test are conducted nationally by Zakat foundation of India and other organizations who bear all expenses of coaching , sometimes lodging and boarding as well for selected candidate. Ehsaas international partners with ZFI for this initiative.
