CFEL, (Centre for Exclence in Law) Law Education wing of Ehsaas International organises workshop on sexual harassment.

To enlighten girl students with self_defensive techniques conducive to minimization of sexual harassment and abuses, a dynamic counselling session on  ”women empowerment” was held today at Divine institute in Mir behri, Dal by CFEL , the team of law experts and student. 

The programme, oriented to female students making them aware of the importance of schooling (education) as an instrument for change, is a legal academic assignment in order to empower and equip these girls for education in addition with modern defensive paraphernalia.

A free and Frank interactive session proceed for around two hours which was joined by a good number of students. The legal experts (guests also)  who had organised this overly entailed programme, included Mr Wajid Rizvi, Mrs Aliya Akbar, Mrs Tasidia , Mrs Razia, Mrs Maroofa, Mr Majid.

On the occasion , Mr Wajid Rizvi provided a brief introduction about the women empowerment programme. The session was presided over by Mrs Aliya Akbar , incharge of the program,  made the female students aware of the obstacles they face in defence from any kind of physical harrasment and abuses they have to face. She extensively apprised the students about the defensive skills by means of which they could protect and shield themselves. likewise the students were educated about the basic self- protective services , practically shown how to do self defense in case of any sensual harassment. Students also shared their incidents they had to face , and a case of a female  student  was so fruitfully resolved. 

Besides the cfel team come up with a counselling session for 3rd 4th, 5th ,6th grade students , made them feel of  basic need of education and has inspired them to take law as your career option. 

Meanwhile the overall counselling session was energetic and mesmerised. The students from both the session expressed much satisfaction over the programme and expressed their willingness and interest to become part of such programmed in future.
